Dear Richard, he was always so kind to me! Giving me a job when I wasn't sure I could contribute anything in the workplace. Maybe he was talked into it (?) but he did it anyway, putting up with my constantly changing hours, moaning about the heating (justifiably so!) and making sure the everyone was nice to me. It really helped to boost my confidence that I have almost managed to make a second career for myself (although a few may dispute that!). He was a warm and grateful boss, great friend too, always good fun. I can't believe that he's not around anymore and will really miss him a lot. My fondest love to his family at this sad time. XXXXX
